New Album - Family Tree - Official Release Date May 20

Special pre-release copies available from CD Baby April 21st!

"Family Tree," according to music critic Bill Childs, "is going to be a top-of-the-list record ... The music is probably best described as indie folk, with the focus on Frances' gentle, playful, and expresssive voice. The lyrics somehow strike a remarkable balance between simplicity and sophistication ... I don't think I'll hear a better record this year."

Frances England's debut album was voted the 4th best kids and family album of the year in the 2006 Fids and Kamily Poll, the first compilation of year-end kids and family music "best of" lists from critics, writers, radio programmers, and others involved in the music industry. Fascinating Creatures also came in at #3 on Warren Truitt's Kids Music That Rocks Top 20 list, and #5 on Stefan Shepard's Top Twenty Kids Albums of 2006 (featured on NPR's All Things Considered).
